T.R. Michels' Guide Service

T.R. Michels examining whitetail rub in Minnesota

This will be my fifteenth year a a guide/outfitter and hunting consultant. I guide and outfit in several states, and I book hunts for several other guides and outfitters in the US, Canada and Alaska. If you are looking for a quality hunt, with quality guides, in quality areas, contact me. I'd like to help you enjoy the "hunt of a lifetime."

Our hunters have included former Minnesota Vikings coach Bud Grant, former professional wrestlers Vern Gagne and Paul Ellering, former Federal Cartridge Corporation owner Alan Newcomb, former Feather Flex decoys manager Dave Berkley, Trebark camouflage designer Jim Crumley, Knight & Hale Game Calls former co-owner David Hale, Outdoor Edge Cutlery owner David Block, writer Kathy Etling and her husband Bob Etling, former Field & Stream writer Norman Strung, and NRA North American Hunter former editor John Zent.

They have hunted whitetail, turkey, ducks, geese, elk, black bear, Dall sheep and caribou; in Alaska, Colorado, Idaho, Iowa, Minnesota, New Mexico, North Dakota and Quebec. I often go along on these hunts as a guide, or to hunt.

Below are some of the locations I intend to guide on or hunt in 2004. However, if you don't see the hunt you are interested in, contact me; I book hunts for all North American game species.

Good Hunting and God bless,
